You may think that Scott, Ohio is just identical to any other settlement in the US, but struggling ghosts of the past in this settlement don't appear to aim to die. There have been loads of meetings with individuals from another dimension. Some locals allege there are no phantoms, but a visit to Scott, Ohio will make anyone believe.

The ghost of a dentist with a bloody uniform is rumored to have been spotted on frequent occasions in Bresler Park around midnight dragging a body over rocks. One of the residents determinedly says that this spirit may be the spirit of a local person who died here in Scott some decades ago.

The ghost of a gentleman gripping a bloody sword may from time to time be made out floating along on Cunningham Creek at the stroke of midnight. One thing's for sure, it sure is a menacing ghost that you would not want to come across in the early morning hours before sunrise.

The ghost of a civil war fighter was observed traveling on a stallion down a highway close to Scott. There have been
  numerous reports regarding this ghost in the area. It's been argued that this specific phantom is the stressed soul of a long forgotten Scott person who lived here.

The spirit of a gentleman having demonic signs engraved into his nose was witnessed pacing through a building near Scott. Many reports of this spirit have been described. In any case, this is an unlikable spirit that you shouldn't go searching for.
