I grew up in shelbly. I lived in a house that I kept picking up people singing and talking on my small tape recorder. One night my friend Randy and I decided to place my recorder in the attic. We could clearly hear the noises of the passing cars as well as the crickets out side but knew the small recorder would not pick up the noice more then ten ft. or so away. I brought the tape player back down and for a moment there was only silence. Then the sound of static grew louder and louder as if it was aproching my tape player. Then out from the static came a voice saying,''Dan, put the tape back,' then nothing. I saw several things while living in this house as well. I've been plagued most of my life to seek out the unknown and have obtained a few picks and a large collection of various stories. I included a pic I took at a haunted hotel in a pitch black hall way.

During the daytime you may very well feel Shelby, Ohio is exactly the same as any other municipality, but there are extraordinary things occurring in this municipality during the dark hours. There have been scores of occurrences with entities from another zone. People who have never stayed for the night in this municipality will say to you it's all just superstition, but there in fact are terrifying things taking place here in Shelby in the moonlight hours.

The phantom of a guy wearing a police outfit was noticed hiding a body by a sizeable boulder in McBride Park in the early morning hours before sunrise. This ghost is incredibly active in this vicinity; there have been a few other reports of this exact ghost.
The phantom of a security guard with a bullet hole in his forehead became visible holding a headbone in Bear Run. This is one of those phantoms that is observed over and over again in the vicinity. One of the folks who live
