Ralph built this house and died in it. The house remained in his family until 1976 when it was old to a family from Belvedere. The spirit of Ralph Poe became furious that the property was sold to outsiders and terrorized the place breaking things in the basement and making noise in the attic. A fire nearly destroyed the house in 1984 and until     a closet was closed his spirit visited the house. Many years later, a granddaughter of the couple who bought the house asked about the ghost in the closet. This grand daughter had no clue there was even a closet since she wasn't born until 1986. .
