It was silent, the were no crickets or frogs making a sound all we could hear was the water running in the creek. We ran back to the car and high tailed it out of there. Later I found out that back in the late 1800's or early 1900's the was a passenger train that sank 80 feet down into the creek about 3 miles up stream while crossing on a bridge.
It had been raining for many days and nothing was ever recovered.

Comment by Bob: I lived in the area all my life and never heard of this. Is this the mile long tunnel? Where did you get this story?.

There have been in my family sightings on north 4th Street of a recording studio where people have heard doors slam upstairs and someone going by really quick in the hall. He doesn't bother you to much but you know he's there.
