Thompson, Ohio Ghost Tales I was passing by a church on the corner of 166 and I saw a spirit of a woman holding a knife in her hand, and if you look close you can see a fiendish smile on her face this spirit has only been seen once or twice by me and my friend austin if you are ever there look by the church she stands at the point of the church. Many ghost accounts have been conveyed by the local residents. Not everyone believes in the accounts       the local residents tell, but the struggling spirits of Thompson are all too real. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. A creepy beast has   purportedly been perceived on one or two instances at midnight visiting The Ledges. Folks argue that this ghost is perhaps the undeceased ghost of a local resident who used to have a home here in Thompson. The ghost of a guy clad as a janitor can often be observed downing regular from a fuel pump at a fuel station in Thompson. A local resident argues that this ghost is the tormented spirit of a long dead Thompson local resident. Any which way, this is an unfriendly ghost that you shouldn't go trying to locate. A lady with a partly see-through body has every so often been witnessed crying out people's names in the center of Bates Creek. Some of the locals argue this ghost is the ghost of a vacationer that was murdered while traveling through Thompson a long time ago. In any case, it's a frightening spirit that should be shunned.
