She said she heard footsteps in the hallway that sounded like, a child in boots! She made me get ready in a hurry and we left the property. We later told my mother and sister what had been occurring as they tried to come up with reasonable explanations for the events. My mother told us that the only similar event she encountered while in the home was the smell of cigarette smoke and acted as though     she didn't believe our experiences. However, I was convinced that something was going on and decided to move out of the mobile home. In July of 2008 my parents decided to put the mobile home on the market and it sold by December that year. After the sale was concluded, my mother told Rachael and I that one night in 2007, before I moved in, she was staying at the mobile home and saw what she thought was my nephew walking down the hallway. Once she came to she realized that he wasn't staying with them that night, and began doubting her own sanity.
