The porter house apartments are haunted. The bathroom door lockes by itself, footseps, also moaning from the 3rd floor an nobody lived up there at the time.

We lived in Wellston in the early to mid 80s.We rented a home on South Connecticut Ave. It was an old home, built in 1904 or so, that sat atop a hill. I had a lot of strange things happen to me here! At the top of the stairs to the right was a bedroom that had a sliding closet door. And inside the closet was a make shift door cut into the paneling that lead into the attic. You had to pry this door open to get into the attic. I would go to sleep at night and wake to find that both doors were open and none of the family would have been in my room that night. And looking in you could see where part of the old stairway that went up into the attic was all boarded up and it looked to be boxed in! Being freaked out, I switched rooms and I took the bedroom off to the far left of the upstairs...Well

as I would be ready to fall asleep I would see in my doorway the figure of a small boy with short dark hair and he was wearing bib overalls. I would ask what do you want and he would disappear! And as I would pass the stairway to go to the laundry room or bathroom out of the corner of my eye I could see a man holding a little boys head!!!!He was dressed

in bib overalls too! He was a large man but I could never see his face! This gets stranger....One night I was awakened by what sounded like someone fighting!!I went downstairs to my parents room and woke up my mom. She went into the bathroom to find my dad all bloody and looked like he had been in a boxing match! When we asked him what happened he didn't know and looked very confused! He didn't even remember what had happened! My sister had some kind of encounter but she wont even speak of it! If you ask her about it she just changes the subject! And my friends or relatives wouldn't sleep upstairs if they spent the night! One friend wouldn't even sleep in the house, we would camp out in the back yard! The day that we moved from the house my mom had an encounter as well....we were loading up the last of our things so mom had me too put the cat in the laundry room so that when we were on our way out we could find her. As mom went to pick up the cat to take her to the car she and the cat heard the most evil growl you have ever heard! The

cat bolted right out the window, it tore the screen to get out! So needless to say we never got our cat. The family who we rented this house from must have had something happen to them too because she had a nervous breakdown! They would come sometimes to check on the house and to see if anything needed done but she wouldn't even get out of the car! I recently contacted the current renters and had a talk with the man of the house. He said he would ask his wife if she would speak to me about it but she never returned my call! .
