The ghost of a young man having on a confederate uniform came into view pulling a corpse from the chilly water of Cook Slough late in the night. This phantom is exceptionally active in this neighborhood; there have been a small number of other stories of this particular phantom. The ghost of a street bum was perceived meditating in a metal boat on Alligator Lake.
