Audubon, Iowa Ghost Tales In the daytime you may think Audubon, Iowa is precisely equal to any other municipality, but this municipality is the property of stressed ghosts of the olden days. The ghost of a homeless gentleman came into view in Bluegrass Creek flashing a light. When the ghost was seen it vanished into the night. A creepy creature was seen struggling out of a storm drain on an Audubon residential road in the early morning hours before sunrise. The ghost was gobbled up by the thin air after being noticed. A local woman says that this ghost is the tormented spirit of a long gone Audubon local person. Any which way, it is certainly a terrifying ghost that is rather not disturbed. The ghost of a silver-miner was witnessed nosing around in mailboxes before dawn in Audubon. Scared by the onlookers the ghost receded into the night. A lady with a partly see-through body has regularly been perceived in Lake Anita State Park at the ranger station calling names. One of the local residents firmly declares that this ghost is the ghost of a visitor that was killed while traveling through Audubon many years ago.
