From a distance Bode, Iowa seems like your standard municipality, but undeceased ghosts of yesteryear in this municipality don't seem to want to pass away. Things happen around here that can't be given an explanation. Not everyone has faith in the tales the people who live here tell, but not everyone of the dwellers of Bode are still alive.

A lady with her head and both arms severed is repeatedly noticed by Hine Creek conversing into the thin air.
The ghost of a guy holding a blood-splattered knife has allegedly been observed on one or two occasions reading a tabloid by Rutland Marsh. If you talk to the folks who live here, this ghost is possibly the undead ghost of a local who used to have a house here in Bode. Any which way, it's a terrifying ghost that is preferably not disrupted.
A military uniform wandering about without a body in it may repeatedly be distinguished pulling a body across the ground in Devine Wildlife Area before sunrise.

ghost of an awfully scorched female may be perceived often in the rear seat of a Toyota by the driver witnessing the ghost in his rear view mirror late at night. In any event, it in all certainty is a bloodcurdling ghost that you don't want to come across late in the night.

grass in the back garden of an apartment in Bode. Based on what the folks who live here claim, this ghost is the tormented spirit of a long forgotten Bode local person.
