It was one of the houses to survive the Tornado that destroyed Camanche years before and this House was used to lay out the dead and for the families to recover them. As a little girl I would go over there with my dad and I was terrified to go into the bathroom there and go upstairs. I never went into the basement either. We would all hear footsteps and creaky     floorboards but nothing would be there. This House is now gone due to a fire.
