Deep River, Iowa Ghost Tales

In 1888, a fire broke out at the Railroad Depot on the west edge of town.  A railroad worker (first name Kenneth) was severely burned, and later passed away in a nearby residence owned by the Depot Supervisor at the time.  Two years later the supervisors house burned to the ground - no reason stated for how the house caught fire........That house, was rebuilt and is still located near the site of the old Depot site. Kenneth is often seen wandering aimlessly around town.  He can be seen from time to time crossing the street between the local ballpark and cemetery on the east side of town - Some say searching for his grave site that doesn't exist.  Nobody knows for sure where Kenneth was laid to rest.  Cemetery records show many Kenneth's buried within, but all of them are accounted for.  Anybody out there that might know Kenneth's last name, please contact this site and let us know.  The people of Deep  River would be more than happy to provide a place for Kenneth to spend his time.
