Ghosts are so routine in this place; lots of people who live here don’t even fret about it anymore. Folks who have never spent a night in this town will laugh and say it's all myths, but seeing is believing and if you stay for a few days here in Griswold, you may very well perceive a ghost. These are some of the spooky things       that have happened here recently. An army outfit walking around without a body in it is regularly seen in Cocklin Fish Farm at the stroke of midnight hauling a corpse across the dirt. The spirit of a civil war soldier is known to have been witnessed on several occasions standing by a wild road in close proximity to Griswold.
