It was easy then just to get down and put them into the gunny sack.
The next year it was the same they were all piled by the Walnut tree and every year thereafter. When I ask Tony if he did that he would Only reply I don't think you need any help. I left the town and did not return for almost fifty years.
Yes fifty years. My career kept me from returning Only to bury my mother and father and then back to business. When
    I did return the memories flooded my mind. I went directly to the North end of main Street but the old livery stable was gone as was the Walnut
tree.

It was replaced by a home that appeared to have come from the minck farm east of town. Everything was gone; the grocery stores the implement company the feed store even the ponds east of town where I used to fish for bullheads were gone.
I drove around and looked that the house where I used to live and then back to the Railroad tracks. I had to take that walk one more time. I went North to the first bridge
