It was Dec. 10, 2004, my 35th birthday... My infant daughter wouldn't sleep so I packed her in her car seat and headed south from Omaha to my father's home town, Imogene... to the Catholic cemetery, where it's always joked that everyone buried there is a relative! I wanted to visit my dad's grave.. He had died only 18mo prior, and it was my birthday. Having arrived at 11p.m., I wondered out loud, ''what on earth am I doing at a cemetery late at night?'' There was a flurry snow..it was cold, I did get out of my Jeep and stood by the grave, and talked to Daddy. I then looked up into the sky-- and WOW! Thousands and thousands of stars... it was amazing! As I looked down, toward the south side of the cemetery... by the little boy's grave (he had died very young...a toddler), I noticed the Mary statue was lit by moonlight--right next to the pine bush about 5 tombstones south of my father's. Interestingly enough, right beside that Mary statue was another glowing form..white, milky, and I thought-- there are not two Mary statues...and then it moved and dissolved

before my eyes. I got back into the car, telling myself that the boy was in fact, part of my history, and started the car. My father's spirit was sitting in the passenger seat, and I felt his presence all the way home... behind me, in the seat behind the driver, I felt the presence of a little old cranky lady-- small, with skinny fingers-- this was
