I grew up in a town nearby Kellogg and Iowa is a pretty Boring place. So when I would get bored as a teenager I used to go driving around the local area to see what I could see. The creepiest place I ever came across was this dinky little cemetery just outside Kellogg called our silent city.
I've smelt something like rotten eggs filling the air during the afternoons sometimes and seen coloured lights appearing above some

of the headstones at night. One time some friends and I were out looking around after dark and the wind was just awful.
Nearly bad enough

to knock us off our feet. We spooked and ran back to the car and that wind that had been so horrible since we'd arrived died on the spot as soon as we opened the car doors to leave.
