I used to live in Marion Iowa. It was 1993 and I was 12 years old. I lived there with my brother who was 10 at the time, my mother and step father... One morning my brother and I were about to head off to school cause our carpool had just arrived... We headed toward the back door located off our dinning room... I was the first to round the corner and to my surprise my moms vacuum cleaner electric cord was levitating in mid air. My heart raced I felt so scared..then 5 seconds later it fell to the floor... I immediately ran to tell my mom what I had seen. She said I was probably just tried and to think nothing of it...I forgot about the incident for years. One day I mentioned the story to my brother who told me that he had also seen the cord floating in the air too. He had been right behind me and seen it..He said he felt super scared..we never did talk about it when we were young...nice to know I wasn't insane....

There recently has a been a citing of a shadow

figure with red eyes that moves from the shadows very fast at night near houses on the edge of the cemetery in town. Have heard while walking near the cemetery footsteps behind us when there is no one and you'll hear strange noises as you get closer to the entrance of the cemetery and when you step near the entrance it goes silent. before it storms when its dead calm and the door is completely shut, it will blow open wildly, this area and the areas around here have a lot of unknowns.

Marion, Iowa seems equal to any other zone in the US, but not everyone of the residents of this municipality are still alive. Many ghost reports have been exposed by the locals. Not everyone trusts in the testimonies the locals tell, but everyone who stays in Marion is not alive.

a Pit Bull late at night on a gloomy Marion lane. A local man declares that this spirit is that of a local resident who had a home here in Marion some decades ago.
