Comment by S: Hello I'm a firm believer in ghosts and live in Marshalltown. I'm also in the entertainment Industry and would love to come by sometime to check your house out. I've had my own experiences over the years and can actually sense and see them.
I'm hoping to write a movie script about this topic and produce it. I'm for real and have a sister in Newton that has a truly haunted house .

Ten years ago I lived in Timber Valley Trailer Park. One day I was heading to work. I got in my car and went to snap my seatbelt when out of my peripheral I saw a man sitting in the passenger side of my boyfriend's car. By the time I snapped the seatbelt and looked back up he was gone. His color looked like a tea stained yellow. He had silver grey hair and a brown diamond vest sweater over a short sleeved white shirt. His head was leaning almost on his right shoulder staring forward with an empty look on his face.
I instantly somehow understood that he didn't know for sure he was dead, but had been waiting in the car a long time hoping someone would take him somewhere else. I also was awoken in the middle of the night to a man moaning quietly and saying ''my stomach. '' I heard two other voices that night. One was a young man saying ''shot in the head I'm so confused. '' And lastly I heard a young girl's voice saying matter of factly ''she's not here anymore. She's not here anymore. ''
One night I was there alone babysitting my friend's sleeping son, and I heard him walking down the hall and dragging his hand along the wall. When I got up to look, he was sleeping in the room down the hall. As I turned around, a low intelligible voice of a man whispered a few words in my left ear. I ran back to my seat and froze stiff on the couch. The TV then switched to a snow screen, and the kitchen light went off. I didn't move until my friend got home. She didn't believe me. There was a battle that was fought down the road a bit and commemorated with a big rock. Smith Ave. Marshall town. My first experience made me a believer.
