Millersburg, Iowa Ghost Tales Last summer some friends and I were driving around just for the fun of it. We got out and walked a short distance from my van. As we started back we noticed that the windows were fogged, and someone was on the roof. It was like a really bright white/ yellow color. I'm not sure that is wasn't an animal, but it could stand like a man. We started towards it throwing rocks and sticks trying to get it away. It persisted to stay until a flashlight was turned on. After it was gone all five of us loaded up and tried to leave. I went to turn the ignition, but the keys were gone. I thought that this situation couldn't get any worse. Then came the scratching. A sound far worse than nails on a chalk board, almost like that of a scream produced from somewhere other than the mouth. I got out to look and there it was again, the thing. It glared at me like I had tried to hurt it and was unsuccessful. I yelled for the flashlight and was recieved. The light was shined in the burning eyes of a man-beast. It fled as the light touched it's body with just a tiny       hint. I looked for it then making sure it was gone. And there, on the ground where the manlike thing had been just seconds before, were my keys. We got into the car, turned the headlights on and left as soon as possible. Unfortunately, following the hooting owls.
