Moorland, Iowa Ghost Tales One may assume that there's nothing bizarre about Moorland, Iowa, but this place has an adequate amount of phantoms. Ghosts are so usual around here; loads of local residents don’t even worry about it anymore. Doubters don't trust in the local spirit stories, but the spirits of Moorland are out tonight seeking a person to terrify. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The spirit of an elderly cleaning lady became visible sitting on a sofa in a flat near Moorland. Many accounts of this ghost have been conveyed. The ghost of a young-looking       female outfitted as a maid was made out in Bob Hay Memorial Conservation Area late at night burying a dead body by a big boulder. Further people close at hand have had equivalent incidents with a very   similar ghost. The spirit of a young cowboy emerged very late at night rushing after a passing Ford on a dark highway right next door to Moorland. This ghost is exceptionally active in this area; there have been a handful of other sightings of this individual ghost. A bloodcurdling creature was seen at Lizard Creek around midnight throwing boulders into the flowing water. This is one of those spirits that is spotted time and again close at hand. The phantom of a copper-miner was seen in the backseat of a Pontiac by the driver spotting the phantom in her rear view mirror before dawn. The eye witness ran off when she distinguished the spirit. Anyhow, this ghost certainly is bloodcurdling; one that any sound person wouldn't wish to run into.
