Mount Auburn, Iowa is a seemingly usual spot provided that the sun shines from above, but when the sun has gone below the horizon a person may catch a glimpse of some scary things. Statues slide around, words coming out of the dark. Folks who have never stayed overnight in this city will tell you it's untrue, but the spirits of Mount Auburn are out tonight trying to find someone to frighten.
These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.
The ghost of a silver-miner has been spotted on a few occasions in Cedar River Access Area before dawn dragging a cadaver across the dirt. Regardless of what, it without a doubt is a frightening spirit that any sound person wouldn't wish to bump into.
