I don't have any proof really, but I have seen things that aren't very easily explained. When I was younger I saw a dark shadow in the shape of a man standing right next to me. I thought it was my brother, but upon entering the house, I saw my brother sitting on the sofa with his girlfriend watching television.

While the sun is shining Muscatine, Iowa is your common American town, but when the shadows of the night roll in the undeparted march in. Dark hour is undeceased time in this town. Some residents say these descriptions are not true, but seeing is believing and if you spend the night here in Muscatine, you may perhaps perceive a phantom.
These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.
A beheaded guy is repeatedly made out gazing at a lady snoozing on a couch in a mobile home in Muscatine. People assert that this phantom is the undead spirit of a former Muscatine local resident.

been distinguished on several instances in a restaurant in the Muscatine area. A man who lives here asserts that this spirit is that of a local person who lived here in Muscatine some time ago.
The ghost of a gentleman holding a blood-splattered axe can repeatedly be distinguished around midnight exploring Heck Hollow in detail.

of a civil war combatant has every so often been distinguished at Donnelly Pond Dam at the stroke of midnight going wild. One of the folks who live here definitely declares that this ghost loves startling foolhardy folks who dare to disrupt the serenity in Muscatine.
The ghost of a seriously scorched female is known to have been made out on many occasions hurling bricks in the center of Hershey Slough.
The ghost of a train driver was witnessed mounding boulders in Clarks Ferry Recreation Area before sunrise. The onlooker ran away immediately after he saw the spirit.
The ghost of a terribly mangled hunter pulling a dead deer was perceived trying on a shirt in a Muscatine flat. The spirit did not mind that there was somebody else present. A number of of the people who live here allege this ghost may be the soul of a resident who passed on here in Muscatine a long time ago.
