The restaurant on the corner use to be the Maple inn now a chinese restraunt is haunted in the basement.

When my daughter and I rented an apartment, in the Chase Street apartment building, we use to hear a lot of walking around, upstair's, and occasionaly we would hear people talking. When I asked the rental management company, who lived upstairs, they told me on one

did.
It was empty. Later we learned of the morgue that used to be in the basement, and that the building use to be a doctor's home and hospital.

Later a friend of mine moved into an upstair's apartment, there, and told me of having a feeling that someone was there with her, and that object's would move from their original spot.
She would walk into the kitchen in the morning and the cupboard doors would be open, and she was sure they were shut when she had gone to bed. So I think it's safe to say that the place is haunted.
