I was staying with friends who live a couple Miles outside of Remsen in the country. I have stayed there before and nothing strange has happened but last month while I was there I was sleeping in the living room and heard someone walking back and forth in the hallway.
I assumed it was my Friend going to the bathroom and ignored it. A few minutes went by and the footsteps sounded closer to me so I looked towards the hallway

and there was a large greyish glowing figure in the hallway.
I have no idea what it was but it was terrifying. I didn't sleep all night I

was too scared. I thought maybe light was somehow reflecting off the hallway Wall creating this glowing effect but the Walls are painted brown.
