Renwick, Iowa is an outwardly ordinary place as long as the sun shines, but some long gone people from the past have come back here. Tables jump around, noises from nothing. Folks who have never stayed overnight in this settlement will say to you it's superstition, but not a hundred percent of the inhabitants of Renwick are still alive.

The spirit of a jet pilot can be seen time and again in Helmke Wildlife Area on a dark night concealing a body by a large boulder. People say that this phantom is probably the struggling phantom of a local person who used to dwell here in Renwick.

The bloodcurdling ghost of a Viking has occasionally been made out in a boat on Owl Lake facing the witness. A resident declares that this ghost is the undeceased spirit of a long dead Renwick local person.

A glowing human form has allegedly been witnessed on several occasions late at night crawling out of Impassable Marsh soaked in mud.

The spirit of a young gentleman sporting a winter jacket can every so often be noticed wandering from building to building at midnight on a Renwick street.
