I lived in Sidney in the mid to late 1980's. Our family lived in a house about 4 miles outside of town. There were weird things happening all the time we were there. None of us liked to be home alone there. One time, I had come home from babysitting I was around 12 years old. I went in the house and yelled for my sisters while looking around for them. As I was leaving the house I clearly heard my younger sister laugh and then my older sister tell her to be quiet or I'll find them. I ran through the kitchen, into the garage and then down the stairs to the basement - where I KNOW the sound came from. I looked all through the unfinished basement for them but they weren't there. I was in a near panic and told them to quit fooling around and come out - they didn't. I went back up into the kitchen and there on the table, where I'd looked more than once, was a note from them saying they ran to the city and would be back later. That scared the bleep out of me and I ran out of the house and set up on the hill away from the house. (It was

the middle of a nice summer day.) I sat there until my sisters arrived home and to this day they swear they were not there. Every one in my family experienced something strange in that house. .
