There's not a thing strange with reference to Stout, Iowa in the daylight hours, but underneath the surface there are strange things taking place. The ghost of an aged lady clutching a rifle became visible pulling a dead body from the ice cold water of Freddeke Creek at night. When the watcher came into sight the ghost escaped.
