The city of Villisca is known for only two things: its higher than average ratio of drug dealers, and its axe-murder house. There is nothing this town can find to attract visitors except the fact that people were murdered there once. The axe that was used in the killings is on display in their local ''museum'', which has an entry fee. Every time someone writes a book about the killings, or someone checks the house for spirits,

or what-have-you, all of SW Iowa makes a huge buzz about it. Just like millions of other towns in this country- and the world- they have an

unsolved murder.

OK, I've never actually been to Villisca OR Iowa, but when I looked at the Villisca page, I couldn't believe that the ax murder house wasn't listed! Everyone knows about the ax murder house-8 people, including 6 children, were brutally murdered with an ax late in the night as they slept.
