Zearing, Iowa Ghost Tales Once my friend's sister was working at Cissy's,a local gas station. It was all dark and she was alone. All of a suden she saw a door to the fridges open by itself. The gas station is said to be haunted by the original owner of Cissy's. Submitted by Janelle! In the middle school several students and teachers have said that they have seen a ghost in the basement/weight room. They have been many reports about you hear weights clanking. Also one girl was getting out of basketball practice and she looked into a hallway and swore she saw a white figure move from the bag racks and disappeared. Submitted by Gail J. In an old house not far from the middle school two girls went in this deserted house and said that the toilet lid opened and closed and that a black cat jumped in the air and stopped for a couple of seconds in the air.
