The most interesting thing ever experienced was capturing what seemed to be a Native American face in a photo, not once but twice! What really makes me curious is with all these stories about hauntings near Skinners Hill and mine being closer to Roosevelt Bridge; one thing in common is they all all near the same river. I have a feeling it's not so much the houses that are haunted but rather the land. I did a little research of what I could find on

the earlier days. One pioneer did record that he saw lots of what he thought were Native American mounds near the river banks! Makes me wonder if that

has a lot to do with my personal experiences. All I know is if there were such mounds they ain't there no more and that's a big no no. Submitted by Michelle
Comment by Idegon: I'm doing research on haunted places around this town and I was wondering if you could tell me the direction of the house near the bridge.
Comment by Michelle: Over on 2nd St SE! ( street where Whittier town homes are on) I've heard stories from 2 other neighbors that they also had similar experiences. I'm convinced it's the land!.
