The spirit of a youthful cowboy has from time to time been distinguished flickering a light in the center of Carey Creek. No matter       what, this is a nasty ghost that you don't want to encounter at the stroke of midnight. The spirit of a miner is from time to time seen enjoying the surroundings at Douglas Tailings Dike in the early morning hours.
