Objects travel around, talk from the night. Some locals say there are no ghosts, but Dayton is bursting with tormented spirits just waiting to scare you. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The ghost of a female having a pentagram engraved into her cheek is once in a while made out trying on a hat in a Dayton home. One thing is for certain, this spirit indisputably is scary; one that any sane person wouldn't wish to encounter. The ghost of a lady with a switchblade in her head may every now and then be noticed creeping up from a storm drain on a Dayton residential       road before dawn. The ghost of a shackled up woman has often been witnessed shuffling orbs about down at the water at Grass Lake. A female hauling her head next to her arm is known to have been witnessed on frequent instances looking terrifying in Ehlen Park at night. The ghost of a young woman dressed in a blood-splattered dress   can repeatedly be seen playing a song on a fiddle in a Dayton house. According to the local residents, this ghost could be the spirit of a local resident who died here in Dayton in the past. Anyway, this is a hostile spirit that should be stayed away from. A headless female has sometimes been noticed throwing boulders into the current at Crow River late in the night.
