large bloodcurdling spirit has every now and then been noticed climbing out of Hart Lake soaked in mud late in the night. If you listen to what the residents assert, this phantom is perhaps the tormented phantom of a local resident who used to dwell here in Delavan.
The ghost of a tied up gentleman is sometimes perceived having a seat on a couch in a house in Delavan. Loads of folks who live here allege this ghost is the undead spirit of a former Delavan local resident.
The ghost of a hobo has supposedly been distinguished on a handful of occasions marching from trailer to trailer very late at night on a Delavan avenue.
