Grand Marais, Minnesota Ghost Tales Last summer my family and I were visiting split rock lighthouse and decided to go see grand marais again. I wanted to go into a book store and saw that nobody was behind the cash register. I asked if anybody was there there was no answer. If you go there around august you will be able to experience the same thing. The spirit of a guy with numbers engraved into his arm is frequently seen trying to locate a book underneath a parked vehicle in a Grand Marais parking lot before sunrise. In any case, it's a scary ghost that you wouldn't want to run into in the early morning hours. The   ghost of a severely mangled huntsman dragging a dead bear has purportedly been witnessed on a few occasions in a Grand Marais area store, strolling the aisles. A woman devoid of a head can often be seen having a seat at the dining table in a Grand Marais house reading a newsletter.
