The spirit of a security guard with a bullet hole in his forehead was seen seeking another ghost at the entrance to Flandrau State Park. The ghost talked about revenging a homicide. People say that this phantom may well be a famous yesteryear native of Hector. Regardless of what folks articulate, it's a scary ghost that should be left alone. The ghost of an elderly man with a big white beard was made out wandering from residence to residence late in the night on a Hector residential road. The observer became frightened and ran off. A local resident declares that this spirit is the undeparted soul of a long dead Hector local.
