A black cat that transformed into a woman may be distinguished repeatedly covering a corpse by a big rock in Chermak State Wildlife Management Area at midnight.

The ghost of a young female dressed as a maid has every so often been observed trying on a hat in a Lowry building. A person who lives here says that this ghost is the ghost of a traveler that was murdered while driving through Lowry some decades ago. In any event, it's a menacing ghost that any sensible person wouldn't
 
    wish to come across.

The spirit of a down-and-out man is now and then made out hurling pebbles into the water at Trappers Run around midnight.

The spirit of a young-looking cowboy is known to have been distinguished on frequent instances at Pelican Lake Inlet Dam in the early morning hours shouting at the witness to disappear.

A
  menacing beast can every so often be made out on the shore of Lake Minnewaska going crazy. One of the residents determinedly alleges that this spirit is that of a person who settled here in Lowry some decades ago.
