The Tandem Bagel's building is haunted. Chairs have moved on there own. Several staff members have seen a man's head peak around the corner on the basement stairs. You will hear footsteps going down the stairs before he appears. He disappears quickly. In one case a plastic pitcher was thrown down the hallway in the basement. No one had touched it when it moved.

Comment by Shar: Paranormal events and unusual disturbances in the ''force'' are common in an area between Highland Ave. and Sunset Boulevard (basically the Highland Park neighborhood Ellis Ave and Rasmussen Woods). Other cursed areas are in North Mankato between Hinicker Pond and Raymond Drive.
Basically Woodland areas in the slopes of the hills overlooking the Minnesota River Valley. Also there is a great deal of paranormal activity from Rock Street to Hickory Street.
Comment by Nancy: I grew up on East Rock St. and never knew there was a lot of paranormal activity between that and Hickory St. I had seen some bizarre things happening. When I was little growing up but never really heard anything more about it after that.
I once saw a tall man in a funny black suit and top hat. And other kids too.
