Monticello, Minnesota Ghost Tales

I lived in a house on Broadway, that was once a mansion in the early 1900's. I always felt something grab my feet at night when I would go to bed. Many of my friends would also witness the blanket on my feet being scrunched as if it were being grabbed, some even would see shadows. My father wasn't a big believer of ghosts, but on one occasion we both awoke in the morning to find scratch marks on the same leg, and same length. Some friends wouldn't come in the house, saying they could feel something wasn't right. When ever I was home alone I would some times catch a shadow, or things would fall off the wall right in front of me. At times I would wait outside for my dad to get home fearing I would see something or feel it being alone. It was said that this house had slaves on the property, and that maybe some were burried there. I was also good friends with a girl that lived on the other side of the house,(at this time the house was sectioned into four apartments)she also later told methat she would always hear strange noises in her attic, and
knocking. I would love to go back there someday and ask the current renters if anything has happened to them.

I was staying at my cousins house a few years back and there's a whole bunch of junk cluttered around everywhere in their backyard. One thing being an old school bus that we would always go into just to sit down,
talk, and get away from our parents for a little bit. One night, we were sitting in the front of the school bus in the first couple of seats and one of my cousins heard a noise in the back of a bus that sounded like pop cans rattling. We always drank pop back there and never did dispose of our cans so we just left them back there. We got a little scared because everyone that we knew of was on the bus and not even a moment later, we saw these glowing red eyes staring at us. We all screamed and ran off the bus. When we were running, the young boy stood up and chased after us. He was only a black outlined figure and had the reddest eyes that you could see for miles. One of my cousins were right by me and they tripped over a rock. I tried to help her up and we looked back and saw him coming torwards us. All we could really think of doing was scream. She got up and we ran inside. We looked out the window by their front porch and he went walking back to the bus. That night, we were outside once again and we were sitting on the back of a truck. My
cousins have this barn in the back of their yard and the very top part is almost always open because they didn't use it much anymore. And so one time, as if by accident, one of us looked up and saw those glowing red eyes staring down at us again and we instantly froze. No single part of our body could even move. We went inside and that same night, we were in my cousin's room. We were all in our pajamas and were just sitting there talking. Her bedroom window is basically in the front of their house and we were playing this game. The lights went out and before we turned them back on, we saw the glowing red eyes peeking through the window. We screamed and ran out of the room crying to our parents, but they didn't believe us. Then a few hours later when everyone in the house but us were asleep, we heard footsteps coming down the hallway. The floors squeak a lot in their house and so when we looked down at the bottom of the door, we saw a shadow. The lights went out in the hallway and those glowing red eyes that we saw that night peared right through. It was the scariest thing I've ever seen.
