Ulen, Minnesota Ghost Tales | |

Stories of a cult that carried out its activities on a nearby farm in the 60's persist. Apparently it was headed by some local physician. As a child I heard reports of the headless bodies of dogs and cows not far from the Ulen area. And I think I once heard mention of a cult out that way called something like The People of the Children of the Light. Now I don't know about all you other ordinary folk, but I have to say, the whole thing can still kinda scare the holy beejeezus out of me.

During the daylight hours you may perhaps believe Ulen, Minnesota is just the same as any other city, but this city is controlled by undeparted ghosts of long ago. A lot of ghost accounts have been reported by the folks who live here. Several folks who live here claim these accounts are untrue, but the undeceased may show themselves to you if you spend the night in Ulen.

frequently be spotted by Stiner Creek talking into the thin air.
The ghost of a terribly burned lady may be seen over and over again reading a book in Aspen State Wildlife Management Area at midnight. A local woman asserts that this spirit can be the spirit of a resident who passed on here in Ulen some time ago. One thing's for sure, it's a menacing ghost that should be left alone.
