When I was growing up, I lived in a house in Choteau with my mother, along with my brother and sisters. The house was very haunted, many noises and sometimes voices from the attic, and sometimes the noises would come down into the house at night. Also, the TV and radios would turn on and off during the night, and the water in the sink would turn on and off. Sometimes the lights would also flicker, it was very frightening.

Luckily, we only had to live there a few months. I was very happy when we finally moved.

Choteau, Montana appears the same as any other place in this country, but stressed phantoms of days gone by in this town don't appear to be going to pass on. Night time is undeparted time here. Folks who have never stayed overnight in this municipality will say to you it's a pack of lies, but the undeparted may very well show themselves to you if you spend the night in Choteau.
