I have lived in the Bitterroot Valley off and on for most of my life, but I have seen this ghost while driving my truck over the road. Lolo Montana is at the foot of a high mountain pass, in many places, the highway is narrow, with a steep bank on one side, and the highway on the side of the mountain. In places, it is almost 1,000 feet to the bottom. You can't make evasive moves. Several times, I have encountered a phantom

truck, an early 50's Mack truck, that heads strait for oncoming trucks. It's impossible to make an evasive move, and I have braced myself for

a head-on collision. Each time, the phantom truck vanishes just before collision. I have talked to other truckers who have encountered this phantom truck. The experience is very frightening. Submitted by Dave The Trucker Categories: road, truck
