Belcourt, North Dakota Ghost Tales The Skydancer Hotel and Casino is Belcourt is home of man spirits and entities.  People whom stay on the first floor of the hotel hear children running throughout the halls at night.  Security are sent to check after hearing complaints and no one is in sight. Also, surveillance is said to see a man in a black coat walk amongst the slot machines and when they send security to see why the man is there they find no one. The gift shop has had recent supernatural happenings. When the gift shop employees come in the morning to begin work they have to clean the gift shop because many items are on the floor. It is said that this casino is built on remains from the past. A man's body having the head of a skunk was distinguished burying a corpse by a sizeable boulder in Little Gurr Lake National Wildlife Refuge at the stroke of midnight. The ghost did not mind that there was someone other nearby. According to what the local residents allege, this ghost is the tormented spirit of a long departed Belcourt person who lived here. The spirit of a gentleman gripping a sword has repeatedly been observed in a Belcourt area auto part store, pacing the aisles.
