During the daylight hours you may well think Bottineau, North Dakota is exactly identical to any other town, but some long gone folks from long ago have returned here. Things go down here that cannot be rationalized. A number of folks who live here declare these stories are not true, but a stay in Bottineau, North Dakota will make anyone believe.

These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.

The
 
    spirit of an elderly Indian chief can be made out very often rummaging around in a fridge in the kitchen of a Bottineau home before sunrise. Based on what the people who live here allege, this ghost may
  perhaps be a renowned days gone by local of Bottineau.

A black as coal crow that transformed into a woman has every now and then been noticed taking a rest at a coffee table in a Bottineau apartment.

The ghost of a young-looking woman clad as a house keeper is every so often seen surveying the vista from the highest spot of Boundary Butte before sunrise.

The phantom of a homeless man has purportedly been perceived on a few instances staring down into the water at Rugby Point on a dark night. Scores of people who live here allege this phantom is the struggling spirit of a former Bottineau resident.

A
menacing beast has often been seen staring at the water by Lake Metigoshe Dam very late at night. Folks here argue that this ghost is the ghost of a traveler that was killed while driving through Bottineau some time ago.

The ghost of a man dressed as a plumber is repeatedly spotted in The Narrows late in the night trying to utter something. Either way, this spirit undeniably is creepy; one that is rather not disturbed.

A lady with a partly translucent body has been said to have been observed on a handful of instances struggling to grip something outside Lake Metigoshe State Park. A local man claims that this ghost is that of a local who settled here in Bottineau some time ago. In any event, this is an unfriendly ghost that you do not want to come across late in the night.
