I was at St Jo's church, my aunt and I were in the basement of it when we started talking about how the first priest of the church is buried on the grounds some were. Then a old pipe that was in the ground started to shoot up water. When we stopped talking about it, the water stopped.

By the looks of it Mandan, North Dakota seems like a regular settlement, but this settlement belongs to the undead once the sun is down. A lot of phantom stories have been told by the residents. Not everyone trusts in the reports the residents tell, but the undeceased may well show themselves to you if you stay for a few days in Mandan.

These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.

A female with no head can every now and then be seen browsing through trash cans on a Mandan avenue.

    seen on numerous occasions hovering in the air like a balloon in Mandan. Several of those who live here claim this phantom is that of a person who lived here in Mandan in the past. No matter what, this phantom undeniably is terrifying; one that is better not disturbed.

An extraordinarily scary spirit may frequently be observed hurling boulders
  into the flowing water at Beaver Creek very late at night. It's been argued that this individual ghost takes pleasure in scaring unwise people who come looking for ghosts in Mandan.

The ghost of an aged woman grasping a rifle can be seen time and again howling by Dead Heart Slough.

The ghost of a flight attendant has occasionally been distinguished in a store in the Mandan neighborhood.

The ghost of an elderly cleaning lady is sometimes perceived glancing over Custer Flats at night. If you listen to the residents, this phantom may be the spirit of a resident who passed away here in Mandan long ago.

The ghost of a young woman dressed as a maid is known to have been perceived on a handful of occasions in Custer Park in the early morning hours before sunrise pulling a cadaver across the dirt. If you listen to what the local residents claim, this spirit may be a well-known old days inhabitant of Mandan.

The phantom of a young cowboy can every now and then be perceived struggling up from a storm drain on a
Mandan road before sunrise.
