The phantom of a tied up guy has repeatedly       been seen at North Branch Turtle River late at night throwing boulders into the current. If you talk to the folks who live here, this ghost is that of a person who had a home here in Mekinock some decades ago. The ghost of a hobo is regularly seen walking a Rottweiler on a dark night on a gloomy Mekinock residential street. One thing's for guaranteed,   it's a menacing spirit that is preferably not interrupted. The ghost of a youthful female drenched in blood has been said to have been noticed on a few occasions looking through mobile home windows in Mekinock late at night. Either way, it unquestionably is a terrifying ghost that you wouldn't want to run into late in the night.
