Wishek, North Dakota Ghost Tales There is a legend of a girl who was playing hide and seek with her friends in the local Wishek park one night when she went into one of the picnic houses and decided to hide in the fire place. So she heard her friend coming after her and decided she better crawl up into the chimney a little more so before her friend reached the house she was in the chimney hiding quietly. Then a few hours passed by and she didn't hear anyone anymore by this time her friends were gone. So she started to scream but no one could hear her. She was stuck inside of the chimney for a few days until she sadly died. Some people have said that when you enter the park at night you can hear a girl screaming for help but its a quiet scream. Some also say that you see the girl come out of the chimney and walk around the park as if she is still searching for her friends...
