One of the people who live here steadfastly asserts that this ghost is the ghost of a vacationer that was murdered while passing through Astoria in the past. No matter what, it is certainly a terrifying       ghost that any reasonable person wouldn't want to run into. The phantom of an old gold digger with a large mustache and a hook instead of his right hand can often be distinguished gathering wood in Gilleys Grove before dawn. Regardless of what people exclaim, this phantom undeniably is terrifying; one that you shouldn't go trying to find. The   spirit of a flight attendant may be seen often at the stroke of midnight floating along on Deer Creek. The phantom of an elderly cleaning lady has once in a while been spotted near the water at Fish Lake pointing at the witness. One thing is for sure, this is an intimidating spirit that should be stayed away from.
