Moonlight hour is living dead time around here. Some residents say these tales are not true, but not all the inhabitants of Caputa are breathing. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. A lady with a moderately transparent body is occasionally spotted up on Thompson Butte burning a shoe. The phantom of a gentleman sporting a law enforcement uniform has purportedly been distinguished on many occasions downing blood from a mug by Antelope Creek. The ghost of an elderly man with a long white mustache was witnessed at Farming Dale Dam at midnight devouring a hotdog. The spirit did not care that there was someone else near. A female with a machete sticking out of her head became visible near the water's edge at Farmingdale Reservoir gulping water. When the onlooker materialized the ghost ran away. A medieval armor devoid of a human       inside was observed in the rear seat of a Nissan by the driver seeing the ghost in her rear view mirror after midnight. The appearance of the observer startled the spirit who then disappeared.
