Submitted by anonymous       Category: girls In the softball field of Eagle Butte.  There was this women that got beat up and they took her out to the softball field and they left her.  It was during winter time so she froze and died.  Now people have said that if you walk by there at night she will whisper your name. The undead are in this town as the locals will let you know. People who have never stayed for the night in this town will tell you it's untrue, but seeing is believing and if you spend the night here in Eagle Butte, you may notice a ghost. These are some       of the spooky things that have happened here recently. A lady having a sword in her head came into sight concealing a dead body by a sizeable rock in Shupic Park around midnight. When the onlooker emerged the ghost ran away. The ghost of a young-looking Indian warrior was observed up on the highest spot of Eagle Butte struggling   to utter something. The arrival of the watcher scared the phantom who then vanished. Several of the folks here claim this ghost is the undeparted spirit of a long departed Eagle Butte local resident. The ghost of a tough lumberjack grasping a big axe came into sight at Brueschke Dam late at night taking in the vista. The witness got scared and escaped. The terrifying ghost of a conquistador was spotted in a home next to Eagle Butte. The spirit didn't appear to be anxious by the eye witnesses. Whichever way, this is an unlikable phantom that any reasonable person wouldn't want to come across.
