Custom Search Fort Thompson, South Dakota Ghost Sightings Fort Thompson PAGE 1   2     During the year of 1995 I was tdy at Fort Meade SD attending an Advance nco course for two weeks. It was during the the month of March. I was living in one of the old mansion which was used as a barracks for students. The barracks was really old and big with horse stables located behind each mansion. One night I was sleep and was waken by the steam pipes in the building. Lying there trying to fall back sleep I started     to hear Canon fire and horses traveling on the Street outside the barracks. I listen for a while and decided to get up and walk outside and see what was going outside. To my Surprise the night was very calm and peaceful. So I returned back to my bunk and tried again to fall off to sleep and again the same sounds returned. I was not the Only Soldier sleeping in my locations there was about maybe fifteen of us nco's. So again I walked outside again and still I met a clam and peaceful night. So the second time I laid down I Felt I was being approached but   (continued on the next page...)
